Guiding Our Children: The Power of Positive Role Models
“Do we know our grown-up children’s heroes and ideals? Do we really know who they want to become in the future? It’s time to reflect on whether our children’s favorite list includes role models like Hazrat Fatima, Ayesha, and Khadija (may Allah be pleased with them), or Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and his companions. If they’re unaware of their qualities and characteristics, how can they aspire to be like them?Are we ourselves confused or unaware? If so, how can we guide the next generation? We should blame ourselves, not the rulers or circumstances, for our own shortcomings.
The difference between conscious and unconscious parents lies in having a clear plan for character-building, introducing children to inspirational figures, and fostering a better society.Is our effort merely producing robots for the corporate system, or are we nurturing individuals with a sense of purpose and values?
